Displaying Rounding Adjustment amount on receipt

In our country, it is necessary to display Rounding Adjustment on the receipt for customer's information.

Sadly I've been searching around for this solution but ended up not found.

I'm currently running 2.96CE on my business.

Here is what I experienced: (Rounding to 0.05 case)

(Round down)
Bill Amount: $8.92, round to $8.90 which is correct, but it shows as "Discount" instead of rounding.
On top of that, If I give a discount for customer (maybe about $3.00). the Discount will show as $3.02 instead of $3.00.

(Round up)
Bill Amount: $8.98, round to $9.00 which is correct too, but there's nothing to show the round up amount,
which causing a lot of confusion.

I hope in future development, SambaPOS could include this feature. I guess it's not hard, since the calculation is already there.

Honestly I never noticed such problem exists :) As we gain more active users we'll have more information about different uses and it will help us on building a better product.

Since we changed whole calculation logic, that problem won't happen on next version.

I guess it's not calculation problem actually,
Maybe just need to add another tag name inside the receipt template.

Which shows +/- rounding adjustment to that bill.

And SambaPOS is a great product, I don't mind paying license for it when the time comes,
I've browse around POS system around the internet, even purchase one of it, which cause about USD $350.
but end up it's too complicated to setup. totally waste of money.

Yes I meant the same. Since all calculations handled individually on V3, it is possible to separate them by their individual tags names on printouts.

We still don't have plans for selling licenses in the near future :)
