Issue with Custom Entity Screen Layout

I have noticed when creating custom layouts that I mostly cannot place items on the left or right sides unless I make the widget the full width of the screen.

See attached.

Microsoft designed this control to use right bottom corner as the anchor point. I don't know the reason but if you start placing items from right bottom corner it will be a lot easier. I'm using this formula: Drag it until it reaches to that corner and resize it to top :)
