Multiplebarcode, the same item have more then one barcode.
Each product line has a unique barcode. You will not be able to track product movement or have individual pricing if you group barcodes. And for an item price change, if they are grouped then all those items will change in price.

Multiunit, the same item have more then one unit, ex: Piece, Box12, Box24...
Most products come in cartons, which contain packs, which contain the individual products.
For example
1x Carton Corona = 4x 6Pks Corona = 24x Stubbies Corona

The ratio usually stays the same for the same product line. If they release a 30 stubby carton, that will have a new barcode and price, and usually will not be broken down like a 24 carton.

if these options exists, does these option work on the menu items
Menu items are just a button that links to the actual product in the products list. The Product list controls what product name is displayed onscreen and on receipts/kitchen tickets, the portions and/or modifiers, the Tax, the product groups, and the pricing.
