Add properties to modifiers
« on: March 07, 2012, 07:41:50 am »
Those who work with the pizzeria often use modifiers.
The problem is that it can not circumvent or decrease in quantity
Es. "Margherita without oil" "Margherita short mozzarella".
You can do this by using some alternative method? thanks

Spanky,

Have you read thru here - http://forum2.sambapos.org/index.php/topic,113.0.html

You can create modifiers to add to items, to say "No Oil", or like my example list all modifiers (listing all ingredients) and then remove the modifiers that the customer does not want.

What I want is another thing. you can add a series of modifiers that are unique and add only 3-4 keys to select more, less, little? Ex adding modifiers oil, sausage, salami, arugula, radicchio and then add more keys, less, little. so to do, "deviled" more "rocket" little "oil" and always use the same modifiers without insert other, saving space on the screen for modifiers.

Spanky as I understand all your modifiers have options like less, little, more, extra, etc.. How do you price them?

The price you do it this way:
Produced more variation = Product price + price variation
Produced less variation = Product price unchanged
produced little variation = Product price unchanged (this is useful when you have to do ex. MARGHERITA little MOZZARELLA)
is only to indicate that the client wants a little daisy with mozzarella but the price should not change
In Italy, especially the pizza you work a lot with the variants

Does "no" option decreases price? For example what happens when "no salami" and "more sausage" ?

Exactly! Variants have a single screen, with buttons to choose whether to add or subtract to reduce ...

OK. I understood your situation. Adding toggle buttons for "no" and "more" states is possible but for "less" and "little" states you have to add additional buttons and that won't be practical for you. I'll search for a solution for prefixing modifiers with "less" or "little" words.

Just three prefixes, without, with, and soon. You could do this:
Add a check in the properties of the modifiers that allows these variants.
Qunado you put a product enters the screen of the modifiers, if you press a vonta dineta and green, that means more, you press it again and turns red, it means no, if you pressed a third time turns orange, it means little .
