Changing currency using samba POS 288

Hello Emre,
It is my first time to use the samba pos and am finding it difficut to change the currency from US dollars to Ugandan Shillings.Please take me through the procedure and i will be the happiest.We love you out here.What you guys are doing is for the best???PLEASE REPLY AS SOON AS POSSIBLE BECAUSE I HAVE TO MAKE THIS CHANGE IN TOMORROW.tHANK YOU

First of all update to the latest version.

Here 2.91b

Start Sambapos

Go to management, program settings, local language. You will see an option to select currency

Hello, I think you mean currency symbol.
SambaPOS reads currency symbol from windows regional settings.

I have changed the regional settings and currency. but the dollar sign "$" stays as the symbol on the POS screen.

Be sure "Override Windows Regional Settings" is not checked on Local Settings > Program Language page.
