I do not know if someone is already successful, you can add covered with the price as you open a table? eg:
I open a new table and I should see a window numerical
you enter the number of people
adds a product of total amount with a price

Hello spanky. Sorry for responding a little late. You can do it with SambaPOS by using actions and rules. I'll prepare a tutorial for that when possible. Thanks.

Hmm I think I misunderstood your request. I thought you want to enter number of seats and when entered you want to make it to add a specific product with quantity equal to number of seats automatically. For example when number of seats is 5 you'll add 5 water automatically.

But I couldn't understand how price relates with number of seat... Can you elaborate with an example?

Your example is perfect, but instead of water it takes a cover that is used in Italy. then 5 people  = 5 cover of 1.5 euro for people.
