first operation day problem
« on: June 01, 2012, 03:39:37 pm »
Okay it's the day.....
today i've started to use SAMBA!!

for the moment just two small problems

1) Screen Refresh
Actually i've 3 terminals (2 operative panasonic touch screen - 1 laptop) after printing the bill the screen doesn't refresh on the other terminal, i need to click on the department button to have the table situation updated.

2) I've created 2 rules 1 to reprint the kitchen order when i move a table to a different location  and one to automatically add seat n. and chef welcome. (see my post http://forum2.sambapos.org/index.php/topic,595.0.html  and http://forum2.sambapos.org/index.php/topic,594.0.html)

For adding the Chef Welcome and seat n. i've used the event :TICKET CREATED and i use 3 action 2 for add a ticket item and 1 to show a message to remenber to update to the correct quantity, while to reprint the kitchen order after change location i've used the event : TICKE LOCATION CHANGED and 1 action to execute the specific print job

The problem is that when i open a new table automatically print the kitchen order that should be printed after the change of location.
looks like to be a mismatch between the 2 event like the creation of a new ticket it'assimiled to the moving of a ticket from one place to another.

Any suggestion on how settle the problems?
Thanks
MAO

Probably you have not started the MessageServer Application, find it in the program folder.
Then give a name for Ugni terminal, after it should update the status.
