Patrick:
Hello emre! I really love the software. I already setup my new register and it's almost ready to be in use. The only thing left is the caller id.

Here in the U.S we use bellcore fsk
I know in Turkey it is etsi fsk

I plan on using this to convert the bellcore signal to etsi :

Do you think this will be fine?

As for the actual caller id box, i am lost on what to buy... The one in your samba market I am interested in but it's not in english.. Can you suggest me a box or can we work something out?

Thanks,
Patrick

emre:
Hello Patrick welcome to SambaPOS Forums.

Currently I'm in process of obtaining a caller-id supported USB fax modem hardware and try to implement CID support for V2 release with that. It is really hard to find these fax modems in Turkey because they are not popular anymore as they used to be. Unfortunately two modems I tried did not supported caller-id feature. If we can't find one I'll try to implement it with an old Nokia cell phone that have modem chip in it :)

If we can work with that fine I hope any CID supported usb fax modem will do the job. I hope to release news about it soon.

Thanks.

Hello emre,
Thanks but I don't think I can wait that long. I will try using a converter and the box from the samba market. Is there anyway you can ship to the US? And how can I send you money? I do not understand your the language.

Thanks,
Patrick

Patrick:
Do you know where else I could buy the caller id box you are using? Can you ship one to me? I am very desperate.

Are these the same boxes you use?

Thanks
