If you give more details about your idea and the use of it we'll have something to talk about.

Terminal App won't display menu item if the item under sub menu grouping.
Let say, if I have sub menu under "Lunch" such as "Appetizer" "Soup", those items under this group not showing at all.

Did I do anything wrong?

Yes, it does not show sub-menus/sub-categories. It only show item under main menu (vertical menu button)

Sub menu display feature not implemented for the terminal client.
The only solution is creating a separate menu for terminal that does not have tag settings.
