Hello Spanky. I think you mean creating accounts from customer editing screen. I can't check this now but that might be a translation issue. Please check "Customer Resource Template" and verify if "Account Naming Template" values are equal to custom field names.
As I can remember there is a Phone field there and we use if for generating account names. It should appear at "Account Naming Template" in translated value. Changing [Phone] part with Italian word should fix that. Please let me know if it is the issue or not.
