Title: [ANN] V3 moving
Post by: emre on February 22, 2013, 01:58:41 am
We'll release everything about V3 from http://new.sambapos.org (http://new.sambapos.org). Sorry for introducing another place to login but we need that.

For new users I want to tell the V3 story.

V2 was good but not good enough for fast growing requests. For this reason we developed a new infrastructure and to keep V2 in stable state we did it on a separate branch called V3.

What I want to do with V3 is finally finished. I won't improve it anymore until really needed. Now it is time to implement missing V2 features and every other thing people asking for. Don't expect too much yet but we'll improve it fast with your feedback. We call current state as Beta 1. That means further versions will not drop database and we'll document development process better.

Old users will remember the fun while developing V2. To bring it back go to new.sambapos.org, register an account and start asking questions. I'll answer them by writing tutorials, code and we'll find our way.

Short answer > sambapos.org is the new home for V3.

Because we've done with new.sambapos.org testing and we are moving new.sambapos.org to sambapos.org.
It is still in progress because we still have broken links or non working pages. We are fixing them.
