Title: 1 Server\1 Kitchen PC\1 Cashier POS - How to print pdf or show on kitchen PC

Dear Samba POS Team,

first of all I want to thank you for your great work on the Sambo POS system.
I love it.

But I still have a problem I cannot solve.

Here is my Problem:

I have following hardware:
1 Server with Database for Samba POS
1 Notebook with Samba POS Client (Kitchen)
1 Cashier Touchscreen Terminal Client with Receipt Printer

The Kitchen POS and the Cashier POS are connected with Server and the connection works.
I used the tutorial i found in the forum.

Now the question is I don´t have a other physical printer in the kitchen.
So I setup a PDF printer like Cute PDF on the kitchen POS.
So when I put an food order thru the Cashier POS for the kitchen, the kitchen printer will not do anything. :-[

Is there any way the kitchen pos will show a message on the screen that I have a food order?
Or can you give me a hint how to get make the PDF printer work?

Please help me....

Problem solved. Just install the PDF Printer like an normal network printer.

\\yourcomputername\printername

I choose a free pdf printer with an PDF FAX function.
When I make an kitchen order now the PDF FAX will automatically open the internet explorer and show the order to me.
It is not a perfect solution but it works for me.
