Title: difference between display popup and messege

When playing with actions I discovered that setting display popup remains hidden until the cash screen is shown. Is this correct?

What are the difference between the uses for display popup and show message in the dropdown selector box?

popup does not appear on ticket creation not to interrupt order entry. Even you trigger a popup during a ticket creation it will shown after closing the ticket. Message boxes appear instantly.

So a popup could be used as a reminder as items running low after a sale and to reorder?
