Title: cash drawer open only after sale is close and not when printing bill in v 2.9

Hi

My Cash drawer is connected through printer and when  am doing sale ,it is only after i close the sale when the cah drawer open and not when i print the invoice bill.can anyone guide me?

Your rule for the cash drawer is most likely set to trigger on ticket close, not payment received.

On payment received, when you enter the tendered amount and hit cash, the drawer will open.

How can i set my cash dawer to open on hitting cash  button instead i click on close button?

If you want the cash drawer to open every time you print a receipt, add the cash drawer codes to the Header section on the receipt template

Otherwise, create a Rule to execute the Cash Drawer print job on Payment Received. Don't forget to change your Cash Drawer template to Auto Print After -> Manual, or it will open again when you click close.
