Hi
Is there a way that I can change the table of an order since I get many customers that will sit at one table but later more to a different table. Would be great to be able to update Samba POS of such changes.
Thanks

Too easy.
Select the table, click 'Change Table' in the upper left corner of screen, then select the new table.
You can even select items on a ticket and 'Move' them to a new ticket and then new table, if someone leaves a table to join another group.

Hmmmmm, I do not see the Change Table button and when I click on an item and select move nothing happens.
-
Aaah, i see if I click the Move option it move to a different/separate number.

Still no "Change Table" option ..... Bill Printing, Invoice Printing and Notes ... That is all my screen

Make sure you have created Tables and Table Views (Manage -> Tables) so you can use them to assign tickets to.
Then when you select a Table, you can move the whole table to a new one, or move just a few items.

Yip, tables created .... see screenshot

Here you can see an ordered item with all the other option accept Change Table

Ok, do you have POS Table View set in your department (Manage -> Departments -> {your department name} -> POS Table View)
You need to select All Tables or at least one Table View to be able to Change Tables.
It also helps to have Deaprtment Type - A-la Carte set.

Okay, that did it .....
I understand that all these settings everywhere makes it very flexible, but good grief ... what else am I missing, lol
Thanks John!

Your on a learning curve. SambaPOS is very different to many other POS systems, and in that you will find a lot of backend features that makes SambaPOS unique.
Have a good read thru the forum and see some of the great things we have all achieved over the past few months. You will be surprised what SambaPOS can do when put to the test.

Believe me, I am already impressed .... especially by your quick response, thank you very much!
