Has anyone managed to get sambapos working on a linux distribution yet?
I've been trying to get it working on wine but have been struggling to get the .NET framework running properly.
Also, how much work would it be to convert sambapos to a native linux application. I've always wondered what you would have to do?
Cheers,
Chris

Hello, Because we used WPF library for GUI we can't operate it on Linux. The all graphical features of SambaPOS are built with the help of WPF so without WPF rebuilding it for Linux will be hard. Instead of converting it to Linux my future plan is replacing WPF with HTML5. If we can do that any OS that can run HTML5 supported web browser (Linux, ChromeOS, Android, iOS, etc..) will be able to run SambaPOS GUI.
