This is an interesting suggestion.
I'll check if I can implement embedding such online content on custom table views.

MrJim, When I first read your suggestion I wondered if I'll be able to convert a custom table button to a web browser box that can display a web page. There are still things to do but this is what I've done so far...

This is a custom table view with a big single button rendered as a web page. It displays when we click the Calendar Table view.

Custom table view and a calender widget embedded. Displays when "Custom" button clicked.

Same view but that time Google Tasks embedded instead of calendar

This is how we'll configure a button as a web page viewer.

With that feature we'll be able to embed any web app or web page without the need of opening a web browser. I'm so happy with the result. Maybe we should start implementing some web apps for restaurants :)

Awesome. Can't wait to see how it works with the shared calendars of Kerio Mail Server.

MrJim primarily triggered the idea but this idea is a combination of multiple ideas shared before. Look at the screen shot on this topic for an example. http://forum2.sambapos.org/index.php/topic,199.0.html (http://forum2.sambapos.org/index.php/topic,199.0.html)

This is a great example of the community power. Nobody can think something like that while sitting in front of the desk.

Switch to table view, enable design mode by right click menu, click Agenda table, resize it, right click on it and display button properties. You'll see HTMLContent setting there.

But first of all clear Background Image setting :)

Emre,

Is there a way that when you click on the Table View, it doesn't reload the URL?
Maybe an option to refresh or not.

I have setup MySeatXT to play with it, and you need to specify the URL of the default screen you want displayed, as each time you select the Table View, it will default to that URL.

Let me know if you would like the URL, User & Pass.

Update - Let me test a little more as I am getting some weird results with different URL's.
I'm sure the URL is reloaded each time you click on the Table View.

Yes I intentionally refresh that. I agree. An option for disabling refresh will be useful.

Hi All,

just a quick question, would it be possible to use this to display a txt or html file stored on a shared folder on the network?
