Title: Ticket by name
Post by: jcam7044 on April 10, 2012, 09:16:38 pm
Is there any way for the user to give an open ticket a name?  For example for use in a bar where the bartender would start an open ticket and give it quick name like couple, or Jack, ladies or red hat.  This makes it easy to find the ticket when there are many tickets and many customers.

What is the type of your primary department?

I would be using the fast-food type for high volume bar/night club sales.

I prepared a tutorial for you. I hope it solves that :)

I have tried to follow your tutorial but after creating a new tag for a given ticket the names do not display when you select all tickets or select Ticket Tags when no active ticket. It displays only numbers.

Am I missing something here?  I selected my new Ticket Tag as the default for fast food department but still no luck.

Have you set at least 2 sub tags in the Ticket Tag. If you have no sub tags it won't show anything except numbers.
