bug in version 2.75 and 2.76
« on: January 03, 2012, 02:31:19 am »
I have found in version 2.75 and 2.76 that I cannot add more than one modifer.

When you select add modifier a new line is added and you can add a modifier.

When you add a new line, a new line is added, but you cannot edit the new line. You can still add extra new lines but you cannot edit them.

I have found this too. You can add as many of the same/different modifiers (when multiple selection is enabled), but you can not remove any if selected by accident without cancelling the original item and re-adding.

Hello Jenem.
When you add a new line what do you see on price column? It should be 0 if there is no price.

Here is a screen shot.

Modifiers seemed to be working correctly in earlier versions/

Update.

After restarting the software it seems ok now. I can add modifiers ok (so far !!!)

I dont understand why I had issues this time but entering on earlier versions went without a hitch.

Edgar, I should ask this to be able to understand it better. Can't you edit the [New Property] value on the screen shot you sent? I tried lots of things here but I can edit them properly... As far as I can remember I changed nothing there for a long time.

Edit: The grid control we used there has some nasty problems on deleting values with backspace key. I did my best to avoid that but it seems you accidentally found something and it locks the grid editors. If it happens again please let me know.. Thanks ..

Sorry, looks like I was talking about a different issue to Edgar. I was referring to entering items in a new ticket - you can not delete a modifier. This is not a big issue to me.

Two small issues I have found today.
1. When you are editing a Menu and click Edit All Categories, the Numerator Type is in Turkish.
2. If you remove Header text from Edit Product Properties (when using only product pictures), then Edit Category Products shows blank selected products.

John,

I can delete a modifier on a ticket by selecting the ticket item, then when modifier selection pops up you can just press modifier button again it removes the modifier.

eg the modifier item acts like a toggle to add/remove.

Hopes this makes sense.

John you are right.. When multiple selection enabled clicking button again increases modifier quantity. There is a little trick for this issue. You can add a new property named x and clicking x button will remove properties from that group so you can start again. This might not be the perfect solution but it helps :)
